Boston Scientific unveils events calendar

Medical products firm Boston Scientific has outlined its schedule of events for an upcoming summit.

The Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions SCAI Annual Scientific Sessions in Partnership with the American College of Cardiology ACC/i2 Summit is set to run from March 29th to April 1st and will see the company present its results from the Arrive program.

This involved 4,772 patients in a collection of “real world” data using the Taxus Express2 stent system.

In addition, results from the Spirit II clinical trial of Promus and Taxus stents will be unveiled, with two-year data analysis of 300 patients included.

The final day of the summit will see data comparisons between drug-eluting stents and bare metal stents used in patients with large vessels.

Boston Scientific will also exhibit the latest in its cardiovascular products range, such as cardiac rhythm management technologies.

Earlier this month saw the company announce that its Acuity Spiral lead had gained European approval.
