Dr Reddy's to join forces with 7TM

Dr Reddy's has announced that it has initiated a new collaboration with 7TM Pharma to work on selected drugs targets for metabolic disorders.
The two organisations plan to combine efforts in identifying clinical candidates, developing them for pre-selected targets from a pre-clinical stage as far as the proof-of-concept stage.
Dr Rajinder Kumar, president of research, development and commercialisation at Dr Reddy's, remarked: "7TM has established a track record as one of the leading drug discovery companies focusing on GPCRs."
He added that Dr Reddy's was "excited" about working with the firm to make new discoveries.
And Mette Kirstine Agger, chief executive officer of 7TM Pharma, added that her firm looks forward to working alongside the "strong R&D capabilities" of Dr Reddy's.
This is not the only recent collaborative effort Dr Reddy's has undertaken - at the beginning of February it announced that it would be working with SkyePharma, using two of the latter's proprietary drug delivery systems to investigate new offerings.
