Thermo Fisher Scientific announces new stem cell solutions programme

21 December 2007 00:00 in Scientific

Thermo Fisher Scientific has launched its new Thermo Scientific Stem Cell Excellence Programme.

The new initiative unites nearly 100 essential laboratory products and services, spanning instruments, consumables, reagents, and informatics.

The company claims the programme will organise its offerings around four key steps in the stem cell workflow. These are collection/preparation, expansion/differentiation, characterisation/analysis and storage/transport.

According to the company, the programme is supported by a comprehensive web portal which provides detailed product information and supporting application content on the full range of Thermo Scientific products and services associated with stem cell research.

Julie Sperry, vice president, strategic marketing, said: "As the world leader in serving science we are in an unrivalled position to provide researchers with end-to-end workflow solutions to meet their laboratory requirements.

"This new Stem Cell Excellence program leverages our expansive product portfolio while demonstrating a strong commitment to advancing the exciting area of stem cell research."
