| Agfa HealthCare launches IMPAX digital imaging suites | Posted on 27/11/2007 in Medical Company Product News Agfa HealthCare has announced the launch of its IMPAX suites for integrated digital imaging, with the firm unveiling seven such suites at the RSNA 2007 exhibition taking place this week in Chicago.
These suites include specialised cardiovascular, radiology, orthopaedic and mammography systems, in addition to enterprise solutions for healthcare facilities over a number of sites.
IMPAX systems integrate a number of modules into one to meet specific clinical needs and are designed to provide medical staff with solutions that are more focused for their needs in diagnostic imaging.
All suites offer the company's radiology information system and picture archiving and communications system together with modern administrative and clinical applications customised for their environment.
Erkan Akyuz, chief technology officer of Agfa HealthCare, said: "The introduction of our seven IMPAX Suites is a clear next step in the evolution towards driving more efficient and effective solutions towards our customers."
He added that the suites will boost productivity and reliability and consequently enhance the delivery of patient care.
Earlier this month, Agfa HealthCare announced that it would present its complete computed radiography product portfolio at RSNA 2007, including its CR 30-X, CR 35-X, CR-85-X and DX-S solutions.Other news stories from 27/11/2007
