SkyePharma to present at Piper Jaffray conference

SkyePharma has announced that its chief executive officer Frank Condella will make a presentation at the Piper Jaffray 2007 Healthcare Conference in New York.

Mr Condella is expected to deliver his presentation on Tuesday 27 November 2007 at 15:00 EST (20:00 GMT).

The presentation will also be available as a live webcast on the SkyePharma website with an archived version to be made available soon after.

Piper Jaffray is a middle-market investment bank that hosts a number of client conferences and events focusing on the consumer and healthcare.

The goal of the conference is to bring together key industry executives, investors and the company’s own professionals to provide multiple perspectives on the market and assess critical trends.

Last month, SkyePharma announced that Shire Pharmaceuticals was to sell its distribution and marketing rights for Solaraze (diclofenac), a topical treatment of actinic keratoses, to Almirall, together with a product portfolio of other drugs sold by the firm in Europe.

SkyePharma has 11 approved products in the areas of oral, inhalation and topical delivery that are marketed throughout the world by a series of pharmaceutical companies.
