Thermo Fisher Scientific launches range of CO2 incubators

28th September 2007

Thermo Fisher Scientific has today introduced its new Series 8000 CO2 incubators with advanced decontamination technology.

According to the company, the units feature leading-edge cell culture incubation technologies and provide precise, stable temperature humidity and CO2 control.

Either water jacket or direct heat incubators are on offer to ensure compliance with even the most stringent research and laboratory requirements and all 8000 Series units feature a patented airflow system which achieves class 100 air quality within five minutes and constantly filters the entire chamber volume, reports the firm.

Located just inside the incubator chamber for easy access and replacement, the air filter is as easy to clean as the rest of the polished stainless steel interior of the units, which also feature shelves and supports which can be removed without the need for tools, Thermo Fisher Scientific asserts.

Earlier this month, the company announced the availability of a new online demonstration for the use of its S Series Atomic Absorption spectrometers.
