Anachem’s Ukas calibration for ‘error-free pipetting’

Anachem’s calibration system will reduce errors when using its pipettes, reports suggest.

The manufacturer has held Ukas calibration for almost ten years, is the only UK Gilson Centre of Excellence for pipette service and been servicing and calibrating pipettes for scientists in the UK and Ireland for more than 25 years, it states.

Laboratory Talk further reports that the company’s pipette service is the most highly qualified in the UK because of its trained staff and properly maintained and calibrated instruments.

Full data traceability and internationally recognised internal and external quality control are also responsible for the high level of pipette calibration.

Furthermore, the company’s calibration certificate includes ten gravimetric weighings set at three volumes to allow for accuracy, linearity and precision.

Among the pipettes that can now be calibrated by Anachem are Gilson, Rainin, Biohit, Eppendorf, Cappelen, Brand, Nichiryo and Socorex.

Anachem provides specialist support for liquid handling and chromatography, including pipettes and laboratory plastics.
