Millipore launches new products at conference

Millipore has unveiled a range of new products at the INTERPHEX 2007 conference.

The biopharmaceutical products and services provider says that its new line will help companies "efficiently develop and manufacture therapeutics" ? especially drugs and vaccines.

Millipore adds that its bioprocess division currently provides products for a range of critical applications, such as chromatography, sterility testing and cell culture supplements.

Jean-Paul Mangeolle, president of Millipore’s bioprocess division, commented: "We are relentlessly focused on bringing new innovations to our customers that increase their productivity and address key business needs.

"We have made significant investments in acquiring new companies, building a new research and development building and developing intimate customer relationships that will help us to accelerate the pace that we bring exciting new products to market."

New products showcased included the Mobius MIX200 disposable mixing system, SMART RFID Technology and NovaSeptum AV system.

Millipore recently became the first company to successfully integrate RFID technology with filtration products for the manufacture of biopharmaceutical drugs.
