Randox presented with fifth Queen’s award

30th April 2007

Randox Laboratories has announced that it has been granted a fifth Queen’s award.

It says the prize is testament to the "hard work and dedication" of the company in the global diagnostics market and follows its receipt of the award in 2001.

Randox now manufactures five per cent of the world’s clinical chemistry products, is ranked 23rd in the global clinical diagnostics market and is the only company in Northern Ireland to be given the award.

It says its products cover a range of diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular disease and diabetes with applications including those for the treatment of drug abuse, thyroid and fertility testing.

Recent activity includes its £75 million investment to develop the first automated protein biochip array platform.

Randox says this technology "has proven to be the most revolutionary multi-analyte testing platform" now available.

The news follows reports that Randox has selected StayinFront’s CRM solution in order to support its global drive.
