Anachem outlines green credentials

30th April 2007

Anachem has released a new brochure detailing its environmentally-friendly activities.

The leaflet states how it helps customers reduce their environmental impact, by providing benefits for those who recycle the laboratory’s plastic tip packaging through its "go green" scheme.

Anachem adds that it will make a donation to one of three environmental projects each time a customer uses the company’s recycling programme.

It continues: "We all need to be concerned about how our business impacts on the environment and schemes such as ‘go green’ help minimise waste and reduce the amount of plastic that ends up in land fill.

"Currently, Anachem has recycling schemes set up in many UK laboratories, helping to ensure that the plastic material created from pipette tip packaging can be re-used or recycled."

Anachem recently released this year’s Upchurch Scientific and Rheodyne Catalogue for 2007 and 2008, which contains details of fluidic components such as high pressure fittings and super flangeless fittings.

The guide is free and available on request, the company says.
