| Schering-Plough announces staff changes | Posted on 07/02/2007 in Pharmaceutical Company Restructures Schering-Plough has announced that it has made a number of changes to its executive management team.
Brent Saunders has been appointed senior vice president of the company and president of its consumer health care division, where he will report to Fred Hassan, chairman and chief executive officer of the firm.
Mr Saunders, currently senior vice president of global compliance and business practices, will continue as a member of the executive management team and operations management team, in addition to his role as leader of the recently formed HomeAgain business.
He will be replaced by Lori Oueisser as senior vice president of global compliance and business practices.
Mr Hassan said: "Brent Saunders played a critical leadership role in our work to put quality, compliance and business integrity at the centre of Schering-Plough over the past three-and-a-half years of our action agenda."
It was also announced that Raul Kohan has been appointed senior vice president of the firm and president of its animal health division, while serving as a strategic advisor to consumer healthcare and maintaining his support to the HomeAgain business.
Last month, Schering-Plough announced the death of Bruce R Reid, senior vice president of global selling excellence for the global pharmaceutical business.Other news stories from 07/02/2007
