Key Account Manager - South West

Products: Critical Care products, Infusion and Monitoring systems.

Customers - Critical Care Depts, Nurses, Procurement

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, ICU UK Medical, the Key Account Manager role involves the promotion of medical devices, sets and consumable products as well as offering support to existing accounts. Promotion, with supporting marketing materials and clinical data, to hospital clinicians, nurses and pharmacists as well as other Health Care Professionals whom these brands are of clinical relevance to, or who are key budgetary stakeholders within the NHS or private sector.

Position Responsibilities

The key tasks and activities associated with achieving key accountabilities:

" Key account management approach to evaluate where the business can be grown and educating the customers around the products and raising awareness of ICU Medical as a brand. Evaluating through Key Account management how to segment and target your accounts and where to focus your activities.

" Becoming disease experts in all therapy areas with key focus on Oncology. Educating customers around the different uses of our medical device and consumable portfolio across wide therapeutic areas. Being able to articulate the Health Economic prescribing rationale for our products where relevant.

" Monitoring sales data to effectively manage existing business, reacting to information that could indicate any threats to current business and helping to direct activity to ensure efficient coverage of the geographical territory to maximize revenue growth.

" You will be responsible for reporting territory coverage, and updating on pipeline opportunities, on a weekly basis, within the company CRM system.

" Representing ICU Medical at NHS meetings both locally, nationally and internationally when necessary, this may involve working with our European counterparts through EMEA.

" Bachelors degree preferred but consideration will be given for candidates that can demonstrate successful experience within the industry
