JOB TITLE: Account Manager

TERRITORY: Field based- Central UK

PRODUCTS: Range of X-Ray products into NHS, Private Hospitals and Veterinary Practices.

CLIENTS: Hospitals - Radiographers

ROLE: Sell range of Fujifilm modalities, medical, informatics and imaging products. Maintain existing business and develop a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.

1. Sales
Achieve Quarterly and Annual sales targets.
Develop existing and new business opportunities.
Keep customers updated on all new products and technical literature folders.
Monitor sales performance - monthly, quarterly and annually.

2. Tenders
Carry out pre-tender research with customers and assist with tender and bid process as directed by NSM and Tenders Coordinator.

3. Reporting
Completion of all activities in CRM system (Salesforce.com)
Undertake reports as required by NSM.

4. Account
Monitor customer systems and carry out QA analysis as Management required.
Personally investigate any problems and see process through.

5. Administration
Completion of all activity into Salesforce.com.
Produce and update annual strategic business plan and an active sales pipeline.
Monitor and keep expenses within agreed budget, ensuring all claims are submitted monthly.
Complete monthly mileage forms and submit with receipts for approval.
Key relationships

INTERNAL
Liaison with RAM, General Manager as well as Product and Sales Support Specialist. Product and Marketing Managers
Liaison with technical support teams on all technical problems and enquiries.
Liaison with Project Managers re sales and installs

EXTERNAL
Business Managers, Consultants, Radiology Managers, Superintendent Radiographers, OEMs, Procurement and Finance Directors, Chief Executives.

Decision making authority
The job holder has overall responsibility for managing the territory within defined parameters. Specials discounts or negotiations need to be addressed in liaison with RAM

Person Profile

- Experience selling capital equipment (value of equipment should be in excess of £10k) into healthcare industry.
- Experience selling into NHS and working with NHS procurement.
- Proven sales track record (candidates must be able to demonstrate consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets of c£1m+ per annum)
- Ability to learn new technologies (ideally the candidate will have some radiography exposure, however as long as the candidate has experience selling products of a technical nature and has the aptitude and desire to develop their knowledge of our modality products, we would be happy to consider them)
- Full UK driving licence

3rd Stage: Final Interview
