Field Service Coordinator
Watford, UK

Working in the Watford office as an In House Coordinator you will support the field service organisation by responding to customer enquiries (typically by telephone or by email) concerning service related questions. These team members are responsible for the effective scheduling of Field Service Engineers (FSE) to ensure service response is optimised whilst maintaining the most efficient use of resources.

Your role:
Ensure the highest level of front line telephone trouble shooting and fault diagnosis to customers in UK and Ireland who use our wide range of water purification instruments.
Ensure critical users need are prioritized and that day to day scheduling is optimised to make the best use of resources whilst also minimising disruption to other customers.
The In house Service team is a vital link between the Customer and the Field Service Engineer - work with team to ensuring that any pre-installation requirements are in place and that customers have been quoted for any billable spare parts.
As required liaise with Field Sales colleagues to inform them of sales opportunities e.g. system upgrades, potential new preventive maintenance agreements etc.


Experience
3-5 years of experience in a service or sales support role, ideally in a related environment

Additional Skills:
Computer literacy and entry of data into databases
Good time management and problem solving skills
Team player
Ability to complete documentation (both handwritten and electronic) neatly and accurately
