PRODUCTS: Woundcare and Surgical - 70% Community 30% Secondary care

Dressings for exudating wounds, and dressings that have a proven anti-bacterial effect through the use of silver-ion or honey technology. Product range includes: Sorbsan, Aquafoam, DryMax, Mesitran C view and Polymem.

Surgical: Single use surgical devices - blades and scalpels, surgical needles, wound closure devices and OR accessories.

CLIENTS:
Woundcare - Hospitals and Community - District Nurses, Clinicians in Burns, Plastics, Radiotherapy and TVN's.
Surgical - Consultants, Surgeons, Theatre Managers and Procurement.

Description of the job responsibilities:

Customer Relationships
" To be responsible for identifying and building strong lasting relationships with a wide variety of customers and stakeholders, not all of whom are clinical, to develop further business opportunities in order to achieve optimum sales growth on the territory
" To deal with all levels of customer queries and complaints effectively and in a timely manner to maximise sales on territory
" To carry out relevant product training with a wide range of medical staff from consultants to nursing staff to ensure correct use and application of Aspen Medical Products to improve patient outcomes, resulting in increased use and optimum sales growth
" To support study days, leg clubs and other organised woundcare functions as requested to build relationships with customers to further sales growth on territory

Product and Competitor Knowledge
" To maintain a high level of knowledge of Aspen Medical's products, literature and clinical evidence to ensure the required knowledge to maximise sales on the territory
" To maintain knowledge of competitor products, the woundcare industry and relevant medical practices to maximise sales on the territory

Sales
" To conduct structured sales calls to identify and surpass customer needs in order to achieve sales growth on territory
" To demonstrate a consistent and high level of competence of sales, presentation and negotiation skills to achieve sales growth on territory
" To demonstrate a high level of enthusiasm, commitment and self motivation to maximise sales growth to achieve territory targets
" To analyse local and national market data to determine targets areas in order to maximise sales growth on the territory
" To effectively plan and organise activity to maximise business opportunities
" To be responsible for hitting the KPI targets as set out by the RSM to achieve sales growth and targets on the territory
" To be responsible for the timely and regular update of the CRM (ERIK) system to monitor sales activity and direct call activity

Clinical Trials and Evaluations
" To organise and co-ordinate trials and evaluations of new products when required to gain customer commitment and sales growth
" To conduct formal presentations to a panel of influential decision makers to gain formulary status in order to grow sales

Person Profile

Minimum 2 years proven successful Sales experience preferably within a woundcare or related industry
Demonstrable knowledge of Sales skills and strategies, and strategy implementation
Ability to analyse electronic sales data and use the date to plan priorities and territory strategy
Ability to understand and learn human anatomy, physiology and Woundcare theory
Proficient Computer skills including Microsoft Office packages
Full Driving Licence (maximum points permitted is 3)
