Microbiology Account Manager - Food and Pharma

A world leader in the field of in vitro diagnostics for clinical and industrial applications are recruiting for a Microbiology Food and Pharma Account Manager in Sweden.

Present in more than 150 countries through 42 subsidiaries and a large network of distributors they provide diagnostic solutions that improve patient health and ensure consumer safety. .

Within this role you will sell the microbiological product range, including reagents, instruments and services in the Food, Pharma, cosmetics, water & Biotech Market to existing and new clients.

Implement the sales strategy by establishing and maintaining long term relations within the sales and marketing guidelines.

Build a network amongst the decision makers (QA,QC,C-suite, consultants,..) and give a boost to the sales pipeline. This demands a high commitment, self-driven, result and customer oriented personality.

Main responsibilities
o Reach the sales budget, within the setting of the sales strategy and the quality guidelines
o Identifying and developing new business relationships and customer networks
o Maintaining existing business relationships and customer networks
o Promotes product lines by presenting product information to all potential customers within the territory
o Follow-up quotations and close deals
o Collects and forwards to management market information including competitive promotions, contract prices, new products, new applications and customer needs
o Work closely together with all internal divisions that are involved in the selling process

Requirements:
o Bachelor / Master degree in microbiology and biotechnology
o Minimum of 3 years of positive sales experience
o Good understanding of the Food and Pharma microbiology market is an advantage
o Fluent communication skills in Swedish or Danish and English are mandatory
o Self-driven and innovative
o Personal profile characterized by customer focus, result focus, solution orientation and service minded approach
o Good interpersonal skills and cultural awareness
o IT literate with a good working knowledge of MS Office Suite is mandatory
