FIELD BASED MARKETING MANAGER

Lead the UK Marketing team for a leading orthopaedic company.

Responsible for the development and implementation of support materials and services in the area of marketing, communications and public relations, clinical services, and research and development.

To direct the efforts of the marketing team at a strategic and tactical level.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- To be responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of a comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations programme that will enhance image and position within the market place and with the general public, and facilitate internal and external communications.
- To be responsible for all of all marketing, communications and public relations activities and materials.
- To be responsible for achievement of the mission, goals and financial objectives of marketing, communications and public relations, ensuring that evaluation systems are in place related to these goals and objectives and to report on progress accordingly.
- To develop short and long-term strategic plans and budgets for the marketing, communications, public relations program and its activities, monitoring progress, assuring adherence and evaluating performance.
- To develop, implement and monitor systems and procedures necessary to the smooth operation of the marketing, and clinical services functions.
- To keep informed of developments in the market place in which they operate.
- To develop, implement and monitor the marketing budget in each fiscal year.
- To ensure articulation of desired brand image and position; ensuring consistent communication of image and position throughout the Company.
- To be responsible for editorial direction, design, production and distribution of all of - To co-ordinate the appearance of all of print and electronic materials, such as the Company letterhead, use of logo, brochures, etc.
- To lead projects as necessary, which deal with unexpected marketing-related events

SPECIFIC DUTIES

- To work with senior and other members of staff to develop and maintain a strategic perspective based on the market place and customer feedback, and to ensure the overall health and vitality of the business.
- To assist in ensuring that the philosophy, mission and vision are pertinent and practiced throughout the organisation.
- To develop and co-ordinate means of seeking regular input from staff regarding the quality of programs and services that they offer their customers.
- To help formulate and administer policies to ensure the integrity of the Company.
- To maintain a climate that attracts, retains and motivates top quality personnel, both paid and voluntary.
- To recruit, train, appraise, supervise, support, develop, promote and guide qualified personnel within the marketing, and clinical services teams.
- To ensure effective management within the marketing, and professional services team function, with provision for succession.
- To design, support and oversee cross-functional teams throughout the Company.
