Paying around £80k, H+K Strategies are seeking a well-connected Director, with a strong background in consumer brands and Technology practice has ambitious plans to become the strongest and an excellent track record in running and growing a multi-brand client portfolio.

H+K's Technology practice has ambitious plans to become the strongest and most successful sector amongst their competitors within the next three years. Their 25-people strong technology team work with a range of global, high profile brands and are looking to recruit a dynamic and experienced Client Director, with strong consumer brand experience, to lead on a superb new global client and market disrupter in wearable tech.

Duties:

- Lead the development of strategic initiatives and brand plans on behalf of the client in the UK; input strategically into the development of marketing plans and then oversee their implementation, both centrally and then inmarkets
- To work and collaborate closely with other client stakeholders, agency partners etc; act as Team Lead on full alignment and integration of earned media plans with their Marketing team and other external agencies
- Act as trusted advisor at C-suite level, providing senior level strategic counsel and insight, guidance and creativity to meet client requirements, underpinned by relentless professionalism
- Champion the importance of client satisfaction and service within the team, leading by example and encouraging positive client relationship building behaviour
- Oversee and support the growth and development of the account teams to ensure operational competence and quality control
- Understand the art of presentation skills and story telling and bring ideas to life with the ability to adapt presentation styles to various different audiences
- Strong leadership skills; ability to professionally develop members of the team and continuously focus efforts on developing and enhancing the skills and capabilities of the team
- Foster a creative team culture, championing stand-out work and encouraging bold and innovative approaches, ensuring the team delivers game changing ideas and solutions
- Full P+L and budget responsibility for the UK business unit
- Monitor client budgets, management accounts and take pro-active steps to meet key targets and ensure team profitability

Person Profile

This role will offer you the scope to lead strategic planning and creative idea generation for a
discerning client and complex events with multiple partners, at a time when the client is transitioning from a tech company to a lifestyle brand.

You will be given the opportunity to hone your skills across strategic consultancy, brand
campaigns, crisis management, analyst relations, media relations, product launches, content generation, advocacy and stakeholder engagement programmes.

In turn, you will ideally have:

- A proven record in leading, managing and growing a profitable portfolio of
business or client portfolio
- Agency experience essential
- Strong track record of successful senior level client relationships and effective communications specialist, as well as strong digital consulting skills
- Ability to take a lead role in a network of client stakeholders
- Natural leadership capabilities with exceptional people management skills
