Job Comments Role: Senior Account Executive or Account Manager
Location: London

The main responsibilities will include the following:

" Expert on the brand logistics, market landscape. Owns the agency process
" Leads meetings and contributes strategically not only in tactics but also brand positioning, and marketing plans
" First line manager or mentor. Responsible for direct management of account staff and for 'leading' the integrated team through diplomacy and influencing skills

Brand/Market/ Agency Knowledge
" Demonstrates and applies extensive and expert knowledge of assigned brands
" Successfully serves as point of authority and/or source of advice for therapeutic area
" Actively recommends and implements strategic & non-traditional solutions to process problems
" Demonstrates ability to think proactively about brand strategy and lifecycle management
" Provides strategic recommendations proactively to client
" Ensures team adherence to agency process. Identifies issues and leads problem resolution

Client Relations/ Communication Skills
" Communicates clearly and frequently with client counterpart(s)
" Handles client objections well and defends agency position
" Presents complex data or messages in clear, succinct, compelling manner to clients
" Lead role in ensuring timely, accurate client documentation & correspondence
" Compelling presentation skills
" Responsible for keeping senior management briefed on account activities

Creative Contribution/ Advertising Savvy

" Communicates key Client issues/ initiatives to team accurately and in timely manner
" Generates key issues/objectives/ strategies
" Manages tactical brainstorming and planning process
" Detects/anticipates strategic inconsistencies or potential problems - develops & sell solutions
" Demonstrates the ability to think creatively and strategically

Strategic & Tactical Planning

" Has the ability to see the big picture and identify the key/broad issues while still driving the process and details
" Develops communication objectives & strategies (e.g. marketing/ brand platform briefs)
" Shows resourcefulness and thoroughness in developing tactical plans (including budgets and timelines)
" Evaluates creative output against clients brief
" Ultimately responsible for tactics/timelines on brand throughout the year

Financial Acumen
" Owns the daily finances on the account: monitors and manages job activity and costs to ensure budgets are respected; promptly revises estimates as needed; ensures that all billing is done accurately and promptly
" Understands client compensation structure & agency income sources
" Manages creation of tactical plan for fee development

Interpersonal/ Leadership Skills

" Responsible for actively training and helping other account team members achieve peak performance; anticipates & address performance issues quickly & directly
" Conveys credibility and maintains positive, professional image both internally and externally
" Ability to co-lead project teams of moderate complexity; strong teamwork and collaboration skills
" Ability to solve client issues, independently moderate conflicts and influence management decisions
" Contributes to, and oversees development, management and logistics of events
" Develops and applies knowledge of disease states and medical education
