Job Description	Location: Hertfordshire: Welwyn Garden City This position reports in to the Associate Head of Medical Affairs. As part of our Rheumatology Medical Affairs team you will work closely with colleagues in the Inflammation franchise as the Strategic Medical Lead for a leading rheumatology product. This is a high profile strategic role where you will be instrumental in driving the clinical trials plan, leading on health technology assessment submissions, interpreting data for promotional activities, reviewing and approving medical-marketing materials, providing expertise on the ABPI Code of Practice and providing other medical support to improve patient care and maximise the company's potential.
Person Profile	You must be a GMC registered physician, a UK registered pharmacist or a PhD scientist with significant experience in medical affairs Experience in Rheumatology/Inflammation gained either in the pharmaceutical industry, NHS or both. Equally important though, we are looking for exceptional personal qualities, for example: first rate team working skills, experienced in developing sustainable relationships with external opinion leaders, excellent attention to detail, plus the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Experience of communicating and influencing medical strategies with local and global cross-functional teams, NICE submissions and a proven track record in delivering ABPI Code compliance would be an advantage. Above all you must share our commitment to delivering excellence.
