Job Description	LOCATION: Based in Oxford with European travel involved PRODUCTS: in-vitro diagnostic clinical testing ROLE: Defines strategy for and the management of BD supported and sponsored clinical trials at external sites across Western & Central Europe. Manages Regional Clinical support for North West Europe (UK & Ireland, Benelux & Nordic). Supports key EHQ business programmes. Has a specific European scientific & technical responsibility for one core area (specialism). Key Elements Clinical Trials Regional Clinical Support (North West Europe) Scientific Management of North West Europe Clinical Sales Specialist European Scientific & Technical Specialism Number of individuals supervised (dotted line reporting): Clinical Conversion Specialist (or similar) Nordic Clinical Sales Specialist (or similar) UK & Ireland Clinical Sales Specialist (or similar) Benelux
Person Profile	MSc or PhD in a science discipline, a degree with substantial relevant experience will also be acceptable Experience: 5 years experience of working in a clinical laboratory environment although other disciplines/relevant experience will be considered. Biochemistry, Haemotology or related area essential Experience of working for a healthcare company (medical device or pharmaceutical preferred) within a customer facing or applications type role. Membership of national/international scientific associations. A flexible team player with ability to influence and get things done, even without direct authority. Ability to work autonomously, and be capable of independently generating, prioritising and completing work. Ability to work in a matrix organization. Demostrated excellent report generation & publication skills. Proven application of data management & statistical analysis. Self motivated individual who shows a great willingness to learn and has an inquiring mind. Dynamic, with good interpersonal and leadership skills, clear and precise communication skills and the strength to propose and apply actions. Demonstrated ability to communicate with members of the scientific community. Strong supporter of the core BD values. Strong desire to grow within the business /company. Fluent in English; fluency in at least one other major European language is a plus.
Job Package	Basic salary negotiable depending on experience
