The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years experience in a PR role and will be looking for an exciting chance to move up the career ladder. He or she will possess a driven attitude, a solid grasp of the media landscape and be able to demonstrate strong writing skills. Educated to degree level or possessing professional Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) or Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) qualifications will be favourable.
As a full time member of the PR team your main responsibilities will be to draft higher level media collateral such as case studies or opinion articles; to proactively develop and steer media opportunities; to help manage and assist account teams; to review results and offer new ideas to improve client campaigns; and to liaise with and report to clients regularly.
The following are essential:
•A sound knowledge and use of different PR tactics •Proven writing skills with an acute eye for detail and grammatical accuracy •Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure at times •An understanding of how PR fits into wider marketing and business objectives •Capable of delivering results from day one Exciting career progression and responsibilities exist for the right candidate.
Salary level is dependent on length of time in PR and relevant client experience.
