Project Manager for Digital Projects

Principal role:
Working under the supervision of the Account Director the Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the delivery of profitable business on time and within budget. To manage all aspects of the internal management of completing digital jobs within the group.

Experience:
Proven experience in an agency, in a digital related role or proven experience within a pharmaceutical marketing related role with a knowledge of the digital arena.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Internal Project Management
" Build confidence in nitrogen interactive
" Engage with all account handlers to support and deliver the digital projects
" Keep all stakeholders informed and up to date with pertinent information
" Ability to communicate complex information to bite size, easy to understand chunks for internal stakeholders
" Work with traffic manager to improve digital flow and processes
" Gain in-depth knowledge of client products and markets
" Organise and run weekly team meetings

Work flow co-ordination
" Schedule jobs within the agency by department according to priority / urgency, keeping the account management team informed of any changes
" Uphold quality control by driving jobs through internal departments for approval; tracking and monitoring their progress to ensure that deadlines are met.
" Coordinate the movement of all jobs through the agency departments, overseeing the workflow process and making certain that deadlines are met by project team members.
" Work closely with the account team to agree and manage timelines, and to share these timelines with the appropriate members of the wider team.
" Developing scheduling procedures and company processes, and ensuring that all procedures are followed.
" Resource planning based for anticipated workloads; booking freelancers when necessary.


New Business
" Be alert to opportunities for organic growth of accounts
" Recognise opportunities for new business, ensuring these are drawn to the attention of the AD
" Be involved in background research and presentation preparation for new business pitches

Financial Management
" Work with AD and developers to ensure accurate estimates are provided to internal and external clients
" Work with AD to enter appropriate financial information into agency forecasting spreadsheet on a monthly basis
" See all projects through to final production ensuring deadlines are met and budgets are adhered to
" Monitor hours spent by team throughout job lifecycle to ensure it is within budget
" Ensure Purchase Orders are received from client in time for invoicing at the end of each month
" Preparation and checking of hours spreadsheets for fee discussions by AD


Agency Liaison
" Understanding the roles of other disciplines within the organisation (e.g. PR, Med Ed, etc)

General Management
" Be fully conversant with the ABPI Code of Practice and aware of how it translates to digital space
" Keep abreast of any changes to the UK and EU code of practice - updating team members as appropriate
" Ensure accurate briefs are provided to members of the team, to always include timelines

People Management
" Very strong interpersonal skills working within the nitrogen team and with other teams in the wider group.
" Confidence and understanding is crucial
