Job Description	Location : Frimley , Surrey Division: Oncology The Clinical Development Advisor works seamlessly with the Oncology business unit medical team to provide medical and scientific support. This support is focused on the needs of external clinical thought leaders, the business unit, field teams, and also the wider Novartis team. Activities include working with clinical trial teams to service high quality results orientated clinical trials. You will support phase IV/investigator-initiated clinical programmes and play a key part in developing partnerships with investigators and medical opinion leaders. Internally within the business unit you will support the brand marketing teams and their activities alongside input into medical educational programmes; advisory boards; health technology submissions and updating/dissemination of medico-scientific publications.
Person Profile	Prior experience of scientific affairs/post-marketing medical brand support within oncology or specialist medicine. A background in clinical research with working knowledge of Good Clinical Research Practice Expertise in phase IV trials and investigator-initiated trials would be an advantage The ability to understand, process and communicate scientific information to a high standard Energy and enthusiasm with significant commercial acumen Excellent influencing, networking, presentation and communication skills External customer focus with strong networking capabilities and integration with KOLs. Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities within financial and resource targets. The highest ethical standards, with a working knowledge of relevant clinical regulations and industry standards including Good Clinical Research Practice, and ABPI Code of Practice.
