Job Description ROLE: Business Development Specialist (this is a senior role within the business)

TERRITORY: Midlands area (Stoke on Trent; Wolverhampton; Dudley; Birmingham; Coventry; Leicester) are the key centres.

DIVISION: Oncology

The role is a field-based position embracing a number of key areas. Please state the territory you are applying for in your application.

To successfully sell a novel Anti-angiogenic compound in colorectal cancer to Oncologists, Pharmacists, Clinical Nurse Specialists and other relevant customers in both the private sector and the NHS.

To develop strong business relationships with business development managers in the private sector to increase the throughput of patients for treatment
To develop the private sector potential through innovative collaborations with external agencies

To develop relationships with private key opinion leader's across specialties.

To work closely with existing hospital sales specialist's, marketing, medical, oncology clinical specialists and healthcare programmes managers.

" Considerable Hospital Selling experience
" A proven track record in sales and demonstrable success in private sector
" Ability to innovate design and focus key programmes across a diverse customer base
" Strong commercial acumen.
" Demonstrable business planning and organisational skills are essential
" The ability to absorb and use technical information and data
" Exceptional presentation and selling skills a prerequisite of the job.
" Excellent interpersonal skills.
" Strong desire to work in a team.
" Previous experience working in Oncology would be desirable
Job Package Sales incentive scheme (quarterly bonus)

Company car: £6660
