Business Intelligence Manager
Business Intelligence Executive
Location : Cambridge
A. BROAD PURPOSE OF JOB:
The ultimate aim for this role is to provide a source of information and insight that will challenge thinking and enable the organisation to make the best business decisions. This will be achieved by extracting, collating, managing and analysing the best intelligence available (both in terms of data analyses and market research projects), before turning it into a valuable combination of insight and recommendation in order to make better and more informed decisions about the future of our business.
B. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
" Monitoring and evaluating brand performance through data analysis and measurement of "Key PerformanceIndicators".
" Continually looking for information and opportunities to challenge current thinking and attitudes in a way that could enhance the business' performance.
" Management (including budgetary) of brand research plans.
" Management of market research projects.
" Data extraction, integration, anlaysis and interpretation.
" Proactive contribution into the marketing and brand processes that will optimise strategic decisions and enhance learning for the future.
" Delivering insightful presentations to inform optimal business decisions across a variety of commercial functions.

| Person Profile |
" Educated to (at least) graduate level with a science degree.
" Excellent levels of verbal and numerical reasoning.
" The ability to assimilate, interpret and communicate potentially complex ideas, data and information is essential.
" A good level of experience with both market research techniques and data analysis is required. Whilst experience may predominantly be in one of those areas in particular, we would expect an enthusiasm to develop further in both elements, in order to make a wider contribution to the organisation as a whole.
" Experience within the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
" Good communication skills are essential whilst presentation skills are desirable (as it is felt that they could be coached and learned.
" Good interpersonal and communication skills will enable you to effectively suggest, challenge and support (as appropriate) the strategies that will propel the company forward.
" Involvement and experience of forecasting is desirable. |
