Title: Sales and Marketing Analyst
Location: Basingstoke
A new role for Shire HGT this person will report to the VP & General Manager. In collaboration with the sales and marketing team the Analyst will be responsible for the timely completion of all forecasts, trackers and internal information requests for assigned products.
In collaboration with the sales and marketing team, and guidance from the Head of Marketing, to be responsible for all aspects of the forecasting, tracking and budget management for assigned products in the UK & Ireland. Responsible for optimising product results through the provision of market information to the sales and marketing teams.
Describe the essential job duties. " With input from Head of Marketing ,National Sales Manager and Senior Product Manager, be responsible for the timely completion of all forecasts, trackers and internal information requests for assigned products
" In conjunction with GM, HM, SPM and NSM, and working closely with finance BP, ensure timely completion of expenditure management and reporting so as to ensure the UK & Ireland operation is on track for projected OPEX
" Provide logistical and marketing support for UK & Ireland meetings, congresses and symposia, workshops, and other meetings including support for EU meetings where needed and agreed with GM
" Analyse and provide reports from ANFOMED/future call reporting system for management review
" Responsible for the tracking of all promotional material through ZINC to ensure optimal management and timely review and ensure compliance with all aspects of PCPMA
" Manage agreed components of the UK & Ireland marketing budget for assigned projects
" Ensure timely update of UK HGT website and, provide reports on use and recommendations for updates
" Competitor intelligence and monitories of key professional bodies (NICE, SMC, AWMSG, medical professional societies etc) and websites

This position is well suited a strong business or marketing analyst who has demonstrated previous success in managing multiple and complex projects and has previous experience with forecasting and databases. Pharmaceutical or Medical experience would be a real advantage.
Minimum
" Demonstrated success in managing multiple and complex projects
" Pharmaceutical business analyst/marketing assistant experience
" Experience with forecasting/database management
Desirable
" Degree-qualified, in a scientific discipline
" Experience of working with niche therapies or rare diseases would be an advantage, especially in a small to medium-sized company.
" Successful sales experience
