TERRITORY: Southern Ireland
PRODUCTS: Dermatology, Urology, Respiratory, MS
CUSTOMERS: Key Accounts - Primary and Secondary care, good development role for someone to take on management responsibilities and develop into full manager role in the future.
NATURE & OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE
To manage the business in a defined sales territory for the promotion of designated Almirall products.
To define the strategy of the sales / promotion of Almirall products within the defined area with regard to local NHS structure.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Meet or exceed sales targets in the defined territory
Develop an in-depth understanding of the political and clinical environments influencing Almirall products.
Identify relevant NHS structure within defined territory and the networks involved
To build exceptional relationships with individuals in a position of influence with regard to defined therapy areas across the defined region and develop them into Key Opinion Leaders for Almirall
Bring stakeholders together to support the implementation of local care services, which include shared care guidelines and protocols which incorporate Almirall products and these are endorsed by the physician i.e. workshops/clinical clubs etc
Provide support to all the therapy area networks in your area to achieve the above and partner them in the provision of clinical services
Share best practice and relevant market intelligence with team colleagues to support achievement of Almirall business goals.
Effectively implement the brand marketing campaigns to customers in the defined territory
ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyse, understand and utilise the CRM database, appropriate sales reports and account management plans
Maintain records of daily activities, contacts, opportunities and notes in the CRM database
Maintain a one month schedule in the CRM system
Compose and maintain an annual business plan
Follow the policies and procedures contained within the Company Handbook
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management

ESSENTIAL FOR JOB:
QUALIFICATIONS: ABPI qualification
Driving licence with no more than 6 points
GENERAL COMPETENCIES:
" Proven sales success within the last 12-24 months of selling ethical pharmaceuticals to the NHS specifically within Primary Care / PCTs / Secondary Care
" Proven relationship building skills in a sales capacity across the NHS
" Excellent Business Planning and Organisational skills
" Computer Literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
" Proven Account Management Skills

BACKGROUND:
This role would suit an experienced ethical pharmaceutical representative who would relish working across primary and secondary care, including at Account Management level.
The candidates will have a proven sales track record, ideally within the therapy area or similar specialist therapeutic area, and be able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the current political and clinical issues surrounding prescribing.

BONUS: According to Company policy based on achievement of sales targets.
CAR: A Company Car will be provided for this position. It will be fully insured, taxed and maintained by the Company.
DAILY ALLOWANCE: £90 / month
LIFE COVER: The life cover is based on 4x annual salary.
PENSION: Defined contribution scheme, currently at 8%, consisting of 5% company and 3% personal contribution
HEALTHCARE: Private Healthcare for employee and family
HOLIDAYS: 25 days, 3 must be taken at Christmas
MOBILE PHONE: Provided for business calls
SUPPORT ITEMS: Briefcase allowance, diary and full administrative pack provided
BROADBAND: Expenses will be paid, currently up to £20 /month

TRAINING: A residential training course of 2 - 3 weeks will be attended on commencement of the role
