Job Description Main Purpose:
Responsible for managing bid response process including technical submission and pre and post tender clarifications.

Main Responsibilities:
" Completion of Tender technical response
" Completion of schedules, including pricing
" Liaise with 3rd party organizations and collate responses
" Manage pre and post tender clarification questions
" Respond to Pre Qualification Questionnaires
" Effective time management to ensure timely responses
" Carrying out administrative work accurately and on time
" Working effectively with key stakeholders to ensure high quality bid response.
" Attend regional and national meetings as required.

" Achieve National financial targets.
" High quality bid responses
" Maintain excellent stakeholder relationships.
" Achieve objective deadlines.
" Accurate and timely reporting
Person Profile Background:
- A life science degree or equivalent is desirable.
- Demonstrate an understanding of NHS Laboratories.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good planning and organisational skills.
- Self-discipline and self-motivation.
- Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
Job Package Core benefits
25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Employees can also flex their annual leave entitlement and 'buy' or 'sell' 5 days
Pension - final salary pension scheme. The employee's monthly contribution rates are based on 6% basic salary, with Abbott contributing 22% basic salary
Private health cover (taxable benefit)
Life assurance (3 x basic salary if employees join the pension scheme. 1 x basic salary if they choose not to join the pension scheme.)
