Job Description TITLE: Specials and Aseptic Services Sales Representative

TERRITORY: Central London, in and around M25. London South East

PRODUCTS: IV (intra venous) Autoclaves - for pain - epidural management prods and electrolytes (sodium / potassium solutions), Aseptic - prods that have been permanently sterilised - Antibiotics comes as a freeze dry powder. Morphine syringes etc - pharmacy would buy them in bulk. Main focus NPSA - alerts on risk management and that's where we're positioning prod - right prods, right quantities - look at NPSA (national patient safety agency) website. (Non licensed products, they make them under special license which means that if no body makes it for license then they make the products for them)

CLIENTS: Secondary Care

ROLE: Reporting directly to the Sales Manager and working within the IVT Business Stream as part of a multi-disciplinary sales team. The main focus of this role will be the promotion and profitable sales of the Fresenius Kabi product range and it's supporting aseptic services.

Main Accountabilities

1. To develop and implement business plans and strategies for both Fresenius Kabi and competitor key accounts

2. To prepare contract prices and tender documentation where appropriate, in conjunction with all relevant staff as appropriate

3. To work with the Sales Manager (SM) to develop solutions/presentations for tender and contract submissions for all target accounts

4. Work with Sales Manager to develop and implement strategies to secure and grow business in all Fresenius Kabi accounts

5. To target key competitor accounts from identification to and including the tender and contracting process to convert to FK product range

6. To consistently communicate with all relevant personnel, on business objectives and provide detailed contact reports.

7. To work to set call rate guidelines as identified by SM and input activity into FK ETMS as per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)

8. To achieve targeted sales for all products as directed by the SM/business.




Responsibilities

1. Take the lead role in developing and implementing account business plans

2. To work with management team to implement successful Sales and Marketing strategies in your designated key accounts

3. To liaise with all relevant departments and personnel to achieve business objectives. In particular your SM, the Commercial Business Stream, key Marketing personnel and Customer Services

4. To attend seminars, exhibitions or meetings as directed by SM

5. To identify decision makers and influencers in each key account to develop and build appropriate business relationships

6. To co-ordinate and implement the change of products when a contract is agreed in conjunction with appropriate personnel

7. To communicate weekly with SM and Marketing.

8. To fully understand and comply with all aspects of company policy.

9. To provide monthly reports on all aspects of business area and daily reporting via the Fresenius Kabi ETMS as per the SOP.

10. To maintain a high level of knowledge of customers, accounts, services, changes within market place and all relevant clinical developments and feedback this information to SM / Marketing as appropriate

11. To maintain a high level of clinical and technical knowledge of promoted products and services






Expenditure Responsibilities

To manage all financial expenditure within budgets as agreed with SM

Experience and Qualifications

Life science degree or equivalent
Demonstrate good business acumen
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven track record in healthcare sales
Team player
Good verbal, numerical and negotiating skills
ABPI accreditation
Clinical/technical background in healthcare sales

Special Considerations

Person Profile Will look at pharma/devices reps - Need to know their way around hospitals, dealing with pharmacists, asepctic, ITU, procurement, risk management & anaesthetists. Will look at Oncology nurses.

Would like people with the ABPI qualified otherwise will support them to take it
Job Package PACKAGE:
Basic of 30-32K - flexibility for the right person
Bonus: 6k divided into 3 times a year. 100% of target over achievement is paid at the end of the year. Can over achieve in both areas.
