TERRITORY: South East and London - Size of geography determined by concentration of accounts, but UK is divided into 30 territories
Territory 1 - Surrey, West Sussex, Brighton and Hove PCTs
Territory 2 - Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster Camden Brentford and Ealing
PRODUCTS Travel Vaccines and Malarone
CUSTOMERS: NHS (PCT/GP Surgeries) and private accounts (Manage approximately 120 accounts )
ROLE DESCRIPTION
~ Drive Travel Vaccines and Malarone sales with customers across NHS (PCT/GP Surgeries) and private accounts
~ Provide account management capabilities to customers providing product information, service and support, and management of commercial terms
~ Develop new opportunities Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
~ Accountable for all sales within territory for travel vaccines, Malarone
~ Responsible for supporting initiatives such the seasonal selling of Fluarix to manage the impact on customers
~ Implementation of agreed plans and initiatives to support the achievement of sales targets
~ Representatives to continually review & define what plans need to be in place, gathering & interpreting local advanced planning notification needs and PCO locality intelligence to maximise sales opportunities
~ Provide education via the use of key opinion leader study days and nurse experts to primary care providers
~ Maintain strict budgetary control of customer facing spend.
~ Interface with other GSK personnel that will be contacting similar customers to have a coordinated approach Key Role Dimensions
~ Work with PCTs and/or KOLs to organise study days
~ Sales per territory ranges from £800k - £1,600k
~ Manage customer facing budget of circa £10k
