TERRITORY: South West
PRODUCTS: Full Orthopaedic Product Range Hips, Knees, Extremities, Ortho-Biologics and Power tools
CLIENTS: Hospitals NHS and private - orthopedic consultants
JOB ROLE:Selling the range of large joint replacements this is a traditional territory management role with a mixture of existing accounts and new business development. The area is well established with the past incumbent working it for over 4 years. The company has strong relationships with many of the top orthopaedic surgeons working in this area. You will be expected to maintain and develop these further working very closely with surgeons and theatre teams alike, spending at least 70% of your time in theatre. There are product specialists who will support you providing technical support where necessary. You will also attend exhibitions and work shops.
PERSON SPEC:: Preferably someone with orthopaedic sales experience, ideally in reconstruction but would also consider trauma or spinal. This person needs to be credible, ethical and highly competent in theatre. Would prefer a candidate who has experience of the vacant territory and understanding the personalities within this territory. Must live within the territory.
