TERRITORY: South West England Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset. The preferred candidate location is Somerset or Dorset
PRODUCTS: 3M's range of theatre products including Drapes and gowns
CLIENTS: Theatres - Theatre Managers, Sisters, ODP's, Surgeons, ICN's, Supplies, Professional Services
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Deliver sales from the territory in line with Improvement Plan for the complete Theatre product portfolio.
Accelerate growth by identifying drape conversion opportunities and closing them as productively as possible.
Defend existing business, building customer loyalty through provision of 'gold standard' service and adding value for the end user.

Role Activities:
" Influence and motivate target customers to buy/use 3M products through effective relationship development. Building trust to foster effective business relationships.
" Use outcome based thinking to implement the Sales and Marketing plan by translating it into a achievable personalised action plan.
" Develop and maintain strong product knowledge across the theatres portfolio. Presenting & discussing features and benefits with confidence/ authority. Be the 'Go to' draping expert for our customers.
" Identify, follow through and consistently improve practical draping skills to proactively - advise on, demonstrate and trial the 3M drapes range.
" Identify and address opportunities that result in profitable growth. Demonstrating resilience and energy when the going gets tough.
" Identify and positively influence key opinion leaders. Utilising these relationships to improve the profile of the 3M Theatres business.

| Person Profile |
Hospital Device Sales experience
or
Knowledge / experience of NHS theatre procedures/protocols with a desire to move into sales.
" Experience of working within a blue chip environment (preferred but not essential)
" Sales & negotiation skills - excellent knowledge of the sales process is essential.
" Strong communication skills (including listening)
" Planning - targeting and organisation
" Excellent product demonstration skills
" Strong I.T. Skills (Lotus Notes , Excel , Word )
