Job Description Title : Client Services Executive / Business Intelligence Consultant

Location : Godalming, Surrey

Role : CSL are a Global Soultions provider for the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. You will be working with clients to develop projects from beginning to end and provide continuing support after delivery. Areas of project management will also be involved. An important element to the success of this role is the development of an understanding of the clients business needs.

The Client Services Executive (CSE) will focus on ensuring that CSL's clients receive the best possible reporting solutions to fulfil their business objectives. This is a client-facing role, encompassing many areas of CSL's business. Reporting to the Head of Client Development (HCD). This document gives a more detailed description of the roles and responsibilities encompassed within this position.

1) Consultancy
Consultancy is an area of business that CSL is looking to expand. Tgt Dr list validation, Pareto's principal, territory restructures, etc are all pieces of analysis that CSL feels it could do but has always struggled for resource to actually position itself as an active player in this market. Part of the Analysts role would be to perform these pieces of consultancy in an accurate timely manor and ensure complete client satisfaction. Working with the HCD, the candidate would attend client meetings to discuss consultancy work to be carried out, and then carry out the work. The successful candidate would then potentially get involved in presenting their findings back to the client.

2) Client Support
The CSE will be actively involved in the day to day support of clients, helping them with questions about analysis, and offering advice.
The CSE may also meet with clients regularly for catch-up meetings. The purpose of these is to:
* Ensure regular communication
* Ensure that clients are happy with our service (resolving issues before they become problems)
* Pick up on unmet needs (helping to generate additional business)
Working along side the HCD and the Project developers, the person in this role will provide an additional line of support to clients with questions about their systems, issues they may be having or requests for development.
The CSE will also become an expert in the analysis of data, and will be able to provide additional services to our clients which will help to build a strong business partnership. This is an area of our business that we are looking to expand.

3) Training and Development
The CSE will become highly proficient in the use of CSL's tools. As a result, part of this role will include the assistance with and provision of professional training to our clients on key products such as ESPRIT, Console and KPI Dashboard. We want clients to view the CSE as an expert consultant in Pharmaceutical Analysis.

4) Report Development
An important part of the role will be the development of client specific reports in line with their needs. This will vary from receiving a spec for a report from the HCD/Project Developers through to: -
* Report design and development. Starting with a client meeting, ideas will be discussed and best practices/methods suggested.
* Specifying the report to be produced, agreeing it with the client (sign off) and communicating it to the project team.
The CSE will be responsible for ensuring that everything within a report development has been tested thoroughly by themselves and the team, and meets the client's needs. This will also be a 'hands on' role, aiding other members of the team in the production process where necessary. You will be using cutting edge technology and become an expert in the interpretation and analysis of data.

5) Client Placement
It is possible that the CSE will be given the opportunity to participate in a client side secondment whereby they will be solely based at one of our client offices for an agreed period of time (6-12 months). During this period you will gain valuable commercial Pharma skills that you can u
