POSITION: Territory Manager x2.
TERRITORY: Manchester.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. To plan and organize activities to ensure effective sales contact throughout their territory and effective use of their time during each interview.
2.To visit end-users/specifiers and when appropriate other customer personnel including purchasing departments and to make sales presentations, product demonstrations and negotiate terms and conditions of sale within agreed guidelines.
3.To follow up quotations, enquiries and complaints promptly and communicate with appropriate personnel.
4.To act as Account lead for nominated key accounts, coordinate sales activity within the account to achieve prescribed objectives and negotiate supported pricing from vendors as and when possible to increase profitability to Fisher
5.To co-operate with, support and provide product training for colleagues as required and to attend sales meetings, conferences, exhibitions, training and refresher courses as requested.
6.To maintain records of customers, contacts and call details, update contact manager within the guideline 48 hour time period following the call and to produce reports as required by Sales Manager.
7.To carry out any other reasonable duties as required.

General business acumen.
Broad understanding of Thermo Fisher Scientific, and the product range.
Excellent communication and selling, negotiation skills.
Good level of computer skills and knowledge of a variety of software packages.
