"Ideally you will have a background in European field service/field service management in a centralized position or working in a similar role.
"Experience / knowledge of Rheology or Thermal Analysis is desirable, as is a background in scientific instrumentation and/or experience of managing service revenue, developing service metrics, processes and products.
"This role would suit a driven, self motivated person with the ability to function independently as the role reports to the US. Must be comfortable working in a centralized role, within a matrix organization and have proven capability of working across European cultures.
"The success of this role is dependant on being able to convince/influence others to support a common vision for customer support without a direct line reporting relationship.
"Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with a variety of personalities and cultures. Must have excellent written and communications skills.
"Must be able to demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to organize and prioritise work activities, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
"Must be computer literate, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft office products and database management. Prior experience of SAP (particularly service model) would be advantageous.
"Previous supervisory experience desirable.
"Must be prepared to travel mainly within Europe. Fluent in the English language and any other language abilities are desirable.

Salary £40-45K depending on experience
