Job Description Territory: Harlow Head Office

Role: The position has two main components : Provision & analysis of customer information and project management.

The role is responsible for the management of systems and processes to facilitate capture and analysis of customer information in support of sales and marketing.

The role includes project management responsibilities for customer strategy related projects, in line with project specification defined by colleagues in the enterprises and marketing teams.
Major responsibilities:

Work with local and regional IS to recommend and clarify new ideas for CRM system and reporting enhancements.

The project management of selected customer strategy and commercial excellence related projects.

Responsiblity for customer valuation and segmentation models and ensuring delivery of timely updates, to reflect changing market dynamics.

Responsiblity for the provision of models and processes to facilitate analysis of customer information in support of sales and marketing colleagues.

To measure progress in building and maintaining critical customer information, and to propose improvement measures where necessary, to support agreed customer strategies as well as general sales and marketing needs.

Support the day-to-day management of the Merial Customer Support Centre.

To be an active member of all work streams supporting our Customer Strategy.

To develop and maintain an understanding of the company's competitive landscape


Person Profile Education to degree level or equivalent
Minimum of 2 year's experience in a marketing environment
Project management (Lean 6-sigma, Prince or equivalent)
Experience of planning and developing CRM (Pivotal experience a benefit)
Experienced user of reporting tools - e.g. Cognos
Experienced user of data manipulation and analysis tools - e.g. Minitabs
Excellent communication / client facing / presentation skills
Extensive skills using Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Ability to comprehend quickly new technologies and software
Strong organisational and communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills complemented by the pro-active and enthusiastic attitude required of a team player
