Job Description PRODUCT MANAGER, Endosurgery - GLOBAL
Based: Head Office, Bucks UK
Reporting to: Sales and Marketing Director
PRODUCTS: Surgical capital equip + related consumables (robotic camera holder)
ROLE:
1. To plan and implement a successful full launch of the Prosurgics' next generation robotic camera holder, first in the UK, then internationally. To achieve rapid share growth in the market and, working through direct channels and distribution partners, drive product utilisation to maximise the profitability of the product line.

Key Responsibilities

1. Become the voice of the endosurgery customer within Prosurgics.
2. Be the market expert for the endosurgery business, maintaining a clear understanding of the market space; including drivers, current literature, reimbursement trends, competitive and disruptive products and technologies
3. Manage the pre-launch user-acceptance trails and establish a Reference Site programme for the product.
4. Fully plan and manage the phased launch of the next generation robotic camera holder to UK, European and USA markets, including all elements of the marketing mix.
5. Develop competitive product positioning strategies for the product, developing outcomes- and economics-based sales arguments, business plans and objection handling toolkits
6. Identify and build relationships with KOLs and KTLs in target markets internationally
7. Identify complementary products or product concepts to maximise revenue
8. Provide support for Prosurgics' sales team and for international distributors
9. Represent the company at exhibitions and other events.
10. Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys.

Person Profile 1. Experience and understanding of laparoscopic surgery procedures and markets.
2. Sales and marketing professional with successful track record in sales of capital medical devices. Experience in an international arena will be a distinct advantage.
3. Experience of the operating room and knowledge of operating room practices and protocol. Certainly candidates will be able to command the respect, at peer level, of surgeons as well as nursing and technical staff
4. Be educated to degree standard - probably in life sciences or via a nursing background.
5. Customer focused marketing professional
6. Self-motivated, confident and positive team player.
7. Outgoing, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Organised and with a keen attention to detail.
8. Well presented and comfortable in dealing with customers at every level
9. Flexible approach, willing to do what it takes.
10. Ambitious, with a desire to grow in a marketing career
11. Prepared to travel extensively within the UK and internationally
Job Package Base Salary dep. on experience
Car-allowance £500 pcm
Results-based bonus scheme
