Title : Account Manager
Location : Sevenoaks, Kent
Role : As an Account Manager with this full service medical communications agency you will be expected to effectively manage a variety of high quality scientific communications ensuring the efficient and timely implementation of projects for dedicated ethical pharmaceutical and healthcare accounts.
Key Duties :
* Manage designated client accounts
* Understand and provide solutions to clients' communication requirements
* Ensure all designated projects are completed to time and budget
* Principal client contact on all account management issues
* Works with the client to identify communication needs to achieve marketing objectives on designated accounts
* Take clear and accurate client briefs and be able to communicate these effectively to relevant personnel within the agency
* Review content of projects to ensure they meet the approved brief
* Schedule and lead regular (weekly) status meetings to review ongoing projects
* Implement organized and efficient project management systems consistent with SM SOPs
* Oversee the preparation of all estimates and schedules on designated accounts
* Immediately re-estimate projects whenever the initial brief changes alerting Director, Client Services to this
* Monitor time spent on projects to ensure deliverables are met within the schedule and to budget
* Liaise internally with the financial accountant to ensure projects are reconciled and invoiced in a timely and accurate manner
* Gain understanding of accurate forecasting to work with senior staff in providing recommendations for designated accounts
*Recognize and exploit new business opportunities within existing accounts
*Take a pro-active roll in developing and presenting new business pitches and credentials

| Person Profile |
Candidates :
* An Account Manager or a Senior Account Executive from a healthcare communications agency.
* A proven ability to develop and present recommendations and proposals to new and existing clients
Key Qualities :
* Ability to rapidly establish strong rapport with new and existing clients
* Good presentation skills
* Solid understanding of all agency processes and scope of activities
* Ability to take and give good briefs
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities for all personnel within the agency
* Good product knowledge on all relevant accounts and associated products
* Strong report writing ability
* Ability to develop and present project proposals
* Developing management and leadership skills
