Candidates should have an advanced degree, ideally PhD, in life science and have worked in an agency environment.

Key skills:
-Excellent and versatile medical writing skills
-Ability to generate materials to a high standard and high quality, with minimal internal review/assistance
-Significant experience developing content for different medical audiences
-Excellent quality control skills and meticulous eye for detail
-Experience developing, strategizing, and managing publication programs
-Ability to develop strong relationships with medical thought leaders
-Proven ability to work with clients on projects, ensuring they meet strategic marketing and medical needs
-Experience with new business generation (proposals, pitches, etc), offering scientific perspective
-Excellent understanding of scientific/pharmacologic principles and mechanisms of action
-Ability to line manage and/or mentor in-house junior medical writers
-Ability to identify internal resources required to deliver output to client

Title: Senior Medical Writer
Location: South East England
Role: In coordination with a Client Solutions member, the individual will be responsible for maintaining existing accounts for new or existing clients.
Key responsibilities:
-Research and write primary and secondary manuscripts, slide kits, and other medical education initiatives
-Direct/manage others to achieve the above
-Review drafts of copy written by in-house non-senior scientific solutions writers, providing feedback in a mentoring capacity.
The role will involve heavy interaction with the client teams, requiring regular travel within the USA and occasional travel within Europe. In addition, the individual will be required to interact with internal teams as well as manage their specific account team(s).
