In house or ‘maintenance’ engineers are involved in the repair, monitoring, servicing and installation of equipment and machinery that is used within a business. Ensuring all equipment is working efficiently and at full capacity is an important part of any business. Typically a maintenance engineer will be required to diagnose breakdown problems and attend call outs out of hours as required, as well as work with other professionals within the business to implement strategies and processes for when a breakdown does occur to avoid big cost implications.
