The Clinical Specialist has a broad role, offering technical support and training both internally and externally. Often working closely with the sales team to ensure the customer (and representatives) are fully briefed on the clinical applications of the product.

Their role is to explain the technical and clinical advantages of the products, through product demonstrations and training. This may involve attending local and national meetings and exhibitions.

They will provide clinical instruction and guidance, possibly supervising study relating to the technical elements of the company's products.
