Background:
This medium sized healthcare company were heading into a new development phase and were looking to build new leadership into the marketing team following the announcement that their current Marketing Director was retiring.

The Challenge:
The Managing Director of Activa was the previous Marketing Director. It was important to find someone who would preserve and protect the heritage and culture in the business as well as having a vision, and the confidence to resolve and drive forward new initiatives to keep the company moving forward. Activa were looking for candidates who were prepared to take a hands on approach and serious ownership within the role. Team fit was imperative as the candidate would be interacting with the board of directors as well as the rest of the marketing team.

The Solution:
Great lengths to understand the organisations culture to ensure a good fit – particularly within the marketing team. Once to one interviews were set up with the Managing Director, Sales Director, HR Director and the departing Marketing Director. The shortlisted candidates were comprehensively discussed and psychometrics were offered and analysed.

The Result:
Activa were particularly impressed with the breadth and depth of knowledge exhibited by the consultants at Zenopa and trusted the instincts displayed as the process neared completion.
