Since 1948

The company history goes back to 1948, and is filled with innovations. Ever since then, we have monitored developments within medical care closely. Today we offer an expanding range of products, and a technically advanced production facility. We are growing rapidly and are represented all over the world.

Subsidiaries

We have, to date, subsidiaries in the following countries:
Australia, Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland, Spain, Sweden, UK and North America. In markets where Wellspect HealthCare does not have a subsidiary, we work together with selected distributors. The main office is located in Mölndal, Sweden.

Innovations

Wellspect HealthCare is an innovation-driven company. We are often the first to introduce a new type of technique or product. A good example is the hydrophilic catheter LoFric® that we launched in 1983.

Other examples of important innovations from Wellspect HealthCare are in the area of surgery, where we have a similar high rate of development. The emphasis is on developing products like Bellovac® ABT that contribute to a more effective use of resources in medical care. At the same time we make sure that the well-being of our customers is our main priority.
