The Binding Site is an international company that specialises in the research, development and manufacture of innovative, high quality, immunodiagnostic assays in the fields of autoimmune disease, multiple myeloma (and other B cell disorders) and investigation of the immune response.
Binding Site supplies antigen specific enzyme immunoassays (EIAs) for the plasma protein therapeutics industry. These EIAs are designed to measure the level of specific IgG antibodies produced in response to immunisation. The Plasma Protein Therapeutics industry uses antigen-specific EIAs to screen plasma donor during the manufacture of hyperimmune globulin products. The levels of specific antibodies in donor units selected for hyperimmune globulin production are considerably higher than those measured by clinical range assays. In recognition of this, Binding Site has developed high measuring range Tetanus toxoid IgG and VZV glycoprotein IgG* assays specifically for plasma donor unit screening. The three main features of both of these assays are:
- High measuring range
- Bulk format for greater economy
- Calibration to high titre reference material
| Description | Measuring Range (IU/mL) | Pack | Code |
|---|
| VaccZymeTM Tetanus toxoid IgG kit | 1.23 - 300 @ 1:1000 sample dilution or 0.25 - 60 @ 1:200 sample dilution | 10 x 96 tests | MK010.4 |
| VaccZymeTM VZV glycoprotein IgG kit | 0.5 - 10 | 5 x 96 tests | MK080 |
