Pope Woodhead was established in 1981 and is based near Cambridge, UK.
Our initial focus was to improve market and product understanding, in particular the communication between pharmas' global headquarters and affiliates (global-to-local). Our process and communications heritage stems from this time, and our on-site creative studio remains a core capability supporting our consulting practices.

During the 1990s Pope Woodhead led the way in helping clients address the needs of an evolving and increasingly sophisticated healthcare environment with diverse clinical and economic requirements. At this time our client base also expanded to include biotech and medtech companies.

Today our expert knowledge-based approach to commercial and development risk/benefit, built on our understanding of the ever-changing global healthcare environment, is at the core of our success. In excess of 25 years' healthcare experience affords Pope Woodhead a deep understanding of the issues faced by our clients, and positions us as a leading healthcare consultancy.
