Octapharma, a Swiss-based company, is an independent, global plasma fractionation specialist. Its core business is the development, production and sale of high quality plasma derivatives.
- From its foundation in 1983 the company has grown to employ over 1300 people in 25 countries. Octapharma owns four modern, state-of-the-art production facilities in Austria, France, Sweden and Mexico. Sales turnover in 2004 exceeded Euro 345 million.

Product Overview
The Octapharma product portfolio is focused on plasma derivates and includes all major plasma proteins, such as immunoglobulins, coagulation factors VIII or IX and albumin. It also includes a standardised, SD virus-inactivated plasma for transfusion.
