NationWide Laboratories (NWL) is an independent commercial veterinary laboratory providing diagnostic and clinical pathology services for veterinary surgeons throughout the UK, Europe and further afield. 

NWL provides a full range of veterinary diagnostic and clinical pathology services including biochemistry, haematology, microbiology, endocrinology, immunology, molecular biology, histopathology, cytology, autopsy. 

Further services provided include: test interpretations, test protocols, and sampling guides. Additional resources include a collection of disease investigation guidelines, which cover thyroid function; disorders of lipid metabolism in small animals and equines; adrenocortical disorders in dogs, cats, and horses; and peripheral lympadenopathies in small animals.

North Western Laboratories Ltd. was established in 1983 as an independent veterinary laboratory providing diagnostic and clinical pathology services for veterinary surgeons throughout the UK, Europe and beyond. In 2002 the laboratory became part of the Dechra Pharmaceuticals Group.

On 1st April 2003 North Western Laboratories Ltd changed its trading style to Nationwide Laboratories and will be known as NWL. 

Nationwide Laboratories is a multi-disciplinary laboratory with a commitment to quality of service through proficiency testing and rigorous quality assessment and assurance.
