Fisher & Paykel entered the respiratory care market in 1971 with the development of a unique respiratory humidifier system for use in critical care. We now offer a broad range of products and systems for use in respiratory care, the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea, neonatal care and operating rooms.

Products

The business consists of the four product groups:

• Obstructive Sleep Apnea- Our solutions for the treatment of OSA include a comprehensive range of CPAP units and humidification technologies in addition to premium interfaces.
• Respiratory Humidification- We offer a world leading range of heated humidification systems for use during the treatment of respiratory conditions by ventilation or oxygen therapy.
• Neonatal- Our "Tools for New Life" have the goal of providing optimum neonatal care, we offer a range of devices in warming, resuscitation and respiratory support which have been designed to facilitate the infant's transition from the mother's womb to the outside world
• Operating Room- Our Nerve Stimulators monitor depth of paralysis during general anesthesia while our Nerve Locators assist with administration of anesthetic drugs during regional anesthesia
