A series of complementary products manufactured by ourselves and other companies round off this product range.

Eppendorf products are aimed at academic and commercial research institutes as well as industrial companies in the field of biotechnology or in other sectors using biotech research processes. Our main market is North America followed by West Europe and Asia.

Eppendorf was founded in Hamburg in 1945 and has more than 1,900 employees worldwide. The company has subsidiaries in 17 countries and is represented in all other markets by distributors. 

Eppendorf are pleased to be able to offer their customers in the UK the support of a local office in Cambridgeshire. The opening of the UK office in 1998 was part of our long term strategic commitment to continue to get closer to our customers and provide high quality products and technical support to the research and laboratory markets.

The last few years have seen the launch of innovative products like the Mastercycler ep range of thermal cyclers, the epMotion liquid handling workstations, the 5702 RH heated bench-top centrifuge. Innovations in our new reagents range have included HotMaster Taq for HotStart PCR with its unique 'Cold Stop' feature and FastPlasmid for plasmid extraction in under 9 minutes.

We have now increased our technical support and back up which extends to our whole product range from pipettes through centrifuges and thermal cyclers to our range of cell mainipulation products. Our "Total Care" service and warranty packages are designed with you in mind to ensure trouble-free science for the duration of your research.

Eppendorf products in the UK are fully supported by our own factory trained Product and Application Specialists. Our UK Distributors include - Helena Biosciences, Fisher Scientific Ltd., VWR International and Specialist microscope partners for micro-manipulation Carl Zeiss Ltd and Nikon UK Ltd.
